Warhammer Space Marines You Can 3D Print

1. 3D Printed Dredge Marine

3D Printed Space Marines

Underwater combat is the Dredge Marine’s specialty, which is why this awesome 3D printed Space Marine cleverly uses the old diving helmet look from the 19th and 20th centuries to add to the creepy, archaic look.

This model is beautifully detailed with the narwhal pattern these marines are known for and includes a torpedo launcher to compliment the deep-sea combat motif.

The STL files come in two different variations, one with supports already programmed so you can get printing right away, and one with no supports so you can add your own if you’re confident that you can improve printing efficiency yourself.

2. Chaos Marine

  • Download: Gambody
  • Designer: Noah J.
  • Price: $9.74
Demonic Space Marine

Those of you who prefer the more demonic side of the Warhammer lore will certainly recognize this Chaos Space Marine figure. These heretic warriors’ brutal close combat techniques are well detailed in the model’s gore-riddled outfit which, if painted carefully after printing, will make for an intimidating minifigure.

For more information on how to get this, and all other, 3D printed Space Marines looking as good as the picture above, you can find all the information you need in our detailed guides for the best printers, resins, and filaments for just this purpose!

3. Samurai Space Marine

  • Download: CGTrader
  • Designer: Jimsbeanz
  • Price: $6.95
3D Printed Samurai Miniature

Samurai Space Marines blend the ancient with the new for a retro yet modern take on the sci-fi epic that is Warhammer 40k. While there are plenty of different styles to choose from, the superb detail on this print is what earned it a spot on this list.

This 3D printed Samurai Space Marine is designed to be printed in a higher-resolution quality usually only resin printers can manage. However that doesn’t mean you can’t also print it with an FDM printer too.

4. Blood Angels

  • Download: Cults3D
  • Designer: THE_MOD
  • Price: Free
3DP SM

Those of you who’ve played Warhammer for a long time will no doubt know just how significant Blood Angel Space Marines are, and if this founding legion is one of your top picks, then you’ll love this 3D printed Blood Angel model.

While better known for their melee and aerial combat training, these STL files include a mounted gun to further show their diverse tactics.

The files are free of charge because they are a rescaling of an original model. While this means you don’t have to pay for it, you may find yourself in hot water if you try to sell your creation for a profit. 5. Space Marine Traitor

  • Download: Cults3D
  • Designer: CULT_OF_ATARI
  • Price: $3.26
Cult of Atari Collection Example

Building on the Chaos Space Marines, the Traitors are well known and feared across the Warhammer 40k universe, and this model is an excellent, high-quality model from noted designer Cult_of_Atari, whose collection includes just about anything someone 3D printing Warhammer could want.

The model was designed with support settings included for optimum results. Just be advised that, like many 3D printed miniature models, this one was also made and uploaded with resin printing in mind. So if you’re printing with an FDM printer, then be sure to carefully go over your slicer settings to make sure the model comes out just right.

Non-Warhammer 3D Printed Space Marines

3D printing Space Marines means exercising creativity and expanding your Warhammer collections beyond what Games Workshop is officially allowed to do.

Many 3D print designers have taken to combining their interests and exercising their freedom to stretch their creative wings when it comes to 3D printing new models for Space Marines, and here are some of my favorites.

6. Arc Trooper

  • Download: Cults3D
  • Designer: DAELYNARCH
  • Price: Free
3D Printed Arc Trooper Marines Star Wars

Star Wars fans also being Warhammer enthusiasts is not hard to believe, as both are space operas about seemingly endless galactic struggles that are considered classics in their genre. So it’s equally unsurprising that the Arc Trooper of Clone Wars fame can also be 3D printed as a minifigure.

The files are free not only because of the copyright implications, but also because the designer describes themselves as inexperienced in designing. Because of this, you shouldn’t assume that the files are fully optimized for any printer. So I highly recommend double-checking everything in your modeling and slicer software before hitting the print button.

7. Doom Guy

  • Download: MyMiniFactory
  • Designer: Printed Obsession
  • Price: Free
3D Printed DOOM Guy Space Marine

Warhammer may have cornered the market in Space Marine icons, but that didn’t stop world famous videogame Doom from creating their brand of galactic brutes ten years after Warhammer first came out.

Despite the lackluster name, ‘Doom Guy’ remains a videogame icon over 30 years since we first saw him, and that’s why this model is a must-have if you’re as much a fan of retro videogaming as you are of the tabletop games.

8. Buzz Lightyear 3D Printed Space Marine

  • Download: CGTrader
  • Designer: nala09
  • Price: $13.99
3D Printed Buzz Lightyear Warhammer

Before I started making this list, I didn’t really think of Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear as a space marine either, but it does make sense if you think about it. That’s why it’s also understandable that designer nala09 combined the talking toy with the brutal Space Marines from Warhammer to make something unique to say the least.

The model is unsliced so you will need to upload it into whichever slicer software you use to prepare it for printing. Unfortunately, the designer hasn’t included any detailed instructions to get ideal results, so you may find this model to take a bit of trial and error with your own settings.

9. Scooby Doo 3D Printed Space Marine

  • Download: Thingiverse
  • Designer: Trapjawdad
  • Price: Free
Scooby Doo Space Marine

I didn’t see this one coming either. The Scooby Doo Space Marine was a somewhat random find, but one I couldn’t help but talk about. Born from either boredom or some kind of fever dream, this model is well put together and makes for a humorous addition to any Warhammer fan’s collection.

The parts are all printed separately and attached, so you’re free to customize it or add different weapons or appendages as you see fit. While it shouldn’t need rafts, you will need supports for each piece to make sure the model doesn’t fail.

Honorable Mention: 3D Printed Space Marine AirPod Holder

  • Download: Cults3D
  • Designer: PABLOCASOTO
  • Price: $1.08
3D Printed AirPod Holder Miniature Warhammer

In my recent article where I looked at the best 3D printed AirPod cases, I somehow managed to overlook this little gem. This combination of 3D printed Space Marine and AirPod holder is a great project or gift for Warhammer fans who also need somewhere cool to keep their AirPods safe.

The STL files are optimized and split so you can print this practical Space Marine as either one full piece (with or without the base), or as seperate pieces to be assembled post-print. This means the full, usable miniature is accessible to anyone, regardless of 3D printer size or capability.
